With Labor Day weekend coming up and the release of Pumpkin Spice flavored everything, summer is officially coming to a close. If we lived anywhere other than Texas, it would be time to start thinking about cooler weather (though we did get a little break from the heat today!), sweaters, boots, and the leaves changing colors! If you’re planning to be in town this weekend, there are plenty of family-friendly events going on in and around Houston. This is the last weekend to catch the Big Bambú exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts before it closes- if you haven’t been yet, make sure to add it to your weekend “To Do” list. It won’t disappoint.

If you’re looking for some good deals on places to eat out or to get a cool treat this weekend, there are several restaurants offering free food and special deals that you can take advantage of while you’re out and about.
