How many of you have a basketful of markers- some work, some don’t. Did you know that Crayola recycles used markers (including other brands) so you don’t have to throw them in the trash? Creative Edge Art Studio will be collecting used markers from schools and families in the area to send back to Crayola for their recycling program. If you have any you wish to get rid of, you can drop them off at our studio or we’ll have a collection bin with us at the Pearland Clean and Green event this Saturday, May 19th. The markers will be sent to a facility where they will be converted into clean fuel. This fuel can be used to power vehicles, heat homes, cook meals and more! Please let your teacher friends know as they are cleaning out their classrooms for the summer- every little bit helps to reduce our carbon footprint. Let’s spare thousands of markers going into landfills.

To drop off at the studio, we’re located at the corner of Kingsley and Broadway at 2975 Kingsley Drive #137

To drop off at the Pearland Clean and Green the event is Sat. 5/19 at 12000 Shadow Creek Pkwy, Pearland, TX 77584 (Parking lot of Chamberlain College of Nursing/Second Baptist Church) from 8:00-10:30.

Thank you in advance for participating! With the help of parents like you across the country, the Crayola ColorCycle program can keep tons of plastic out of landfills each year.
