If you’re staying in town over Spring Break, we have some fun workshops planned for the kids. Our spring break workshops are daily workshops and we have mornings, afternoons, or full day options, so you can build your child’s workshop experience to meet your scheduling needs.
Art Workshops (9am-12pm):
Let your child explore their creativity when school is out for Spring Break! Children will enjoy many fun activities including arts and crafts, creative play, games, snacks, story time and more! These sessions are perfect for kids ages 4-14 and offer kids the opportunity to play, socialize, and enhance their artistic side. Each day will be a different theme with various activities:
- Monday, 3/11: Wild, Wild West
- Tuesday, 3/12: Spring Time in Paris
- Wednesday, 3/13: Urban Art & Architecture
- Thursday, 3/14: Harry Potter
- Friday, 3/15: Movin’ and Groovin’
Bricks 4 Kidz® (1-4pm):
Let’s go on a tri-continental trip for Spring Break! Tour the world on an adventure of a lifetime as we explore the history and culture of three different continents. Build famous emblems and structures such as the Canadian maple leaf, the Japanese Torii gate and Maneki-Neko (the beckoning cat). Delve into the history of French artist Auguste Rodin as we build the famous museum which shares his namesake. Don’t forget your passport and mountain hiking gear, as there are a few other surprise stops along the way. Bon Voyage!
With our Motorized Legos we will Explore sports ranging from gymnastics to biking, mini-golf to soccer! This unit is a great way to get “sporty” kids building and get LEGO® fans interested in sports. Some lessons focus on the importance of physical fitness and different aspects of fitness, such as stamina and strength. Other lessons describe the mechanics of the sport, such as the physics involved in golf and the components of a stationary bike. But the best part for the students is the way the models move and the fun they have playing with them after they’re built – hitting a plastic golf ball with the mini-golf model, watching the gymnast spin around the bar, and shooting bricks in the hoop on the basketball model. Maybe they’ll be inspired to try a new sport, or build a model of their favorite sport!
